Literature search support

We offer research support to campus staff and students.

Library involvement at the initial stage of your project is critical and will contribute to the quality of your research.

Library staff are available for consultation to:

  • formulate your research question
  • select relevant databases and resources
  • assist with developing a search strategy in your primary database
  • review and refine your search
  • advise on reference management
  • teach you how to locate full-text articles
  • guide with translating the search strategy to other databases

We provide a one hour consultation to assist with the design of your initial search, and can provide further guidance on database searching. You can also attend a group Training session to learn more about database searching.
